Until now, I was making my posts to <i>The Corsair Journal</i> on Livejournal directly on Livejournal. And Conman found a really neat plug-in for WordPress (the blogging software I'm using on my ISP) that will cross-post to my journal whenever I make a post here. Now I have my own site at an ISP (1&1 Internet). I have complete control over how my site looks, the bandwidth I can use, and just about everything else. And WordPress is frickin' cool, yo. The only thing I'm really worried about is losing touch with the people I'd friended and communicated with on Livejournal--which is why I'm cross-posting there. Thankies.

Until now, I was making my posts to The Corsair Journal on Livejournal directly on Livejournal. And Conman found a really neat plug-in for WordPress (the blogging software I’m using on my ISP) that will cross-post to my journal whenever I make a post here.

Now I have my own site at an ISP (1&1 Internet). I have complete control over how my site looks, the bandwidth I can use, and just about everything else. And WordPress is frickin’ cool, yo.

I've been following Duncan via your FL, but I missed your occasional cogent repartee. Even through all that stuff about health care, the commentary was dynamic and interesting. Welcome back.
