Oh, c’mon. Who am I kidding? Personal odyssey? Hardly.
However, it is a site where I can remain relatively anonymous, and post my rambling musings without the fear of too much retribution from a world that hasn’t quite purged the discomfort from its system regarding the freedom of ‘bloggers’ (I’ve always preferred the term journaleers).
This much is true: I did have a journal on Livejournal for many, many years, going all the way back to 2003. I took a year off from blogging–using Facebook to fill the gap, but honestly, I’m really not crazy about the frantic pace of Facebook and have now turned to running my own blogspace my own way.
