The train ride back was very uneventful, and very relaxing. I absolutely adore traveling by train.

Butterfly wasn’t quite the weepy, blubbering mess that she thought she was going to be at the train station, although she did shed a few tears as her son pulled away. I think that the reality of her eldest finally leaving the nest hasn’t quite sunk in yet.

When it does, I’ll be here. :-)

I must admit that UNF has a pretty nice campus–albeit a small one.

Butterfly is handling leaving her oldest all the way up here in Jacksonville remarkably well, considering the circumstances–although she readily admits that she’s going to be a weepy, blubbering mess when he drops us off at the train station tomorrow morning.
